Microsoft is still working on Windows 10 besides the 11 and has released significant updates for the OS. The company keeps supporting the old operating system not to disappoint the users. Additionally, Microsoft will release a new feature update in the fall.
Windows 10 KB5015684, seen in the Windows Insider Program, switches the OS version to “22H2” from “21H2”. You can see it in the below screenshot at the bottom of the page in the specifications section. This update will be significant for the users who want to keep using the older OS instead of upgrading to Windows 11.
While Microsoft pushes people to use the new operating system, Windows 11, the company also doesn’t want to lose users who still want Windows 10. Indeed, Microsoft released a new OS with major and great features. However, the company knows that people don’t change their OS easily.
The new update 22H2 is not available to the public now, but we can see that Microsoft will upgrade it with productivity and security. We understand that it will be a better update for enterprise or business users. It will have minor bug fixes, better security features, and general improvements.
